Senior Associate – External Audit (Assurance)

About the role

Join PwC’s Acceleration Center in Buenos Aires as a Senior Associate in the External Audit team. You will provide independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls, helping clients enhance the credibility of their financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements to identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate internal controls, governance processes and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and deliver tailored audit solutions.
• Apply analytical thinking to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
• Assess risk management processes and related controls using established auditing methodologies.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Lead audit teams in executing audit plans and managing project timelines.
• Uphold professional and technical standards in line with firm guidelines and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Senior Associate level with experience in external audit and assurance.
• Ability to lead and inspire audit teams.
