Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin & AWS)

About the role

Oowlish is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join a cloud‑native team building modern, customer‑facing mobile applications. The role combines deep native Android development with AWS cloud technologies, modern architecture, CI/CD, testing, and direct collaboration with client engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production‑grade native Android apps using Kotlin and modern Android practices.
• Integrate mobile apps with APIs, cloud services, SDKs and external platforms, including tracking, attribution and deep linking.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing suites for Android delivery.
• Work with AWS services and cloud‑native architectures to support mobile solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate technical decisions, progress, risks and trade‑offs to customers.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience delivering production native Android applications.
• Hands‑on expertise with Kotlin and Android application architecture.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud environments and CI/CD automation.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills in English.
