Senior Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join a fast‑growing product team through a team‑extension model. The role involves close collaboration with product, backend, QA, design and other mobile engineers to create high‑impact native Android features for a large‑scale consumer application.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using modern Android technologies and best practices.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, high‑performance mobile features.
• Build intuitive and polished user experiences in partnership with product and design teams.
• Contribute to application architecture and make technical decisions.
• Work closely with backend, QA, and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable product experiences.
• Optimize performance, startup time, responsiveness, and stability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using analytics and monitoring tools.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, feature estimation, and project planning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience developing native Android applications.
• Strong product mindset with ownership of features end‑to‑end.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in distributed teams.
• Experience with large‑scale consumer‑facing applications is a plus.
