Senior Accounting Analyst – CPG & Food/Beverage (Remote)

About the role

Analyst House is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to lead full‑cycle accounting for its CPG and food & beverage clients. The position is fully remote, based in Argentina, and supports companies that sell on Amazon, Shopify, and through EDI channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own bookkeeping, month‑end close and draft financial reporting for a portfolio of inventory‑carrying clients.
• Manage full‑cycle accounts payable, including invoice ingestion, three‑way matching, weekly payments and vendor management.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing, cash application, aging, dunning and statement preparation.
• Reconcile Amazon and Shopify settlement files to the general ledger and maintain e‑commerce clearing accounts.
• Post journal entries for COGS, overhead absorption, trade‑spend accruals and channel‑level adjustments.
• Track and resolve variances between purchase orders, receipts and vendor bills.
• Support payroll reviews and benefits reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience with U.S. companies.
• Experience with inventory‑based CPG or food & beverage businesses.
• Ability to work under volume, maintain accuracy and communicate clearly in English.

Required skills

• Deep proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online.
• Hands‑on experience reconciling Amazon FBA and Shopify settlements.
• Familiarity with modern finance tools such as Ramp, Brex, Gusto and Rippling.
• Knowledge of SPS Commerce / EDI integration with ERP systems.
