Security Engineer – Identity Access Management

About the role

Join EY's Global Delivery Services as a Security Engineer focused on Identity Access Management. You will support a worldwide user base, ensuring secure access to systems and data across a complex Active Directory and hybrid cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑tier support for user account administration and security clearance inquiries.
• Maintain SLA and OLA compliance while coordinating account provisioning, de‑provisioning, and federation protocols (SAML, OpenID, Azure AD).
• Perform operational troubleshooting to minimise downtime and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Service Desk and global IAM team to implement security controls and policy‑driven access.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work under tight timeframes.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and comfortable working flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to absorb technical information quickly and convey security concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Familiarity with SailPoint, RSA, and multi‑factor authentication technologies.
• Experience with SAML, OpenID, Azure AD federation protocols.
• Proficiency in a scripting or programming language.
• Understanding of automation and continuous integration tools.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
