SAP Retail MM/SD Consultant (S/4HANA) – Level 2/3 Support

About the role

EPAM is seeking an experienced SAP Retail MM/SD Consultant to provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for S/4HANA environments. You will be responsible for incident management, problem resolution, and the delivery of small enhancements in a retail context.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP MM/SD processes.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring issues and propose sustainable solutions.
• Manage the full ticket lifecycle using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira, adhering to SLAs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and third‑party teams to address complex problems.
• Lead problem‑management initiatives to reduce incident volume and improve efficiency.
• Document known errors, workarounds, and solutions in the Knowledge Base.
• Configure, test, and deploy minor changes and enhancements.
• Draft and validate functional specifications for bug fixes and minor developments.
• Support transport request management and ensure quality assurance during deployments.
• Provide UAT support and confirm solution effectiveness post‑deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience as an SAP MM/SD Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Retail Master Data, Purchasing, and Sales in S/4HANA.
• Experience with replenishment, goods movements, inventory, order fulfilment, delivery, and billing processes.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) with strong written and spoken communication.
