Sales Controller

About the role

The Sales Controller acts as a Finance Business Partner for the Sales organization, delivering financial insights and analysis that enable profitable decision‑making. The role blends controlling, sales finance, business planning, data analytics and process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Group Controlling guidelines and financial policies.
• Automate recurring reports and data processes using Power Query, VBA/macros and Python.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions for month‑end closing.
• Prepare monthly sales statistics, including volume, price and product‑mix impact by channel.
• Manage value‑chain, trade‑spend and margin control, supporting ROI and price analysis.
• Lead planning cycles, aggregate individual plans, and support business‑plan data collection.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to challenge assumptions, run scenario analyses and develop business cases.
• Identify opportunities to digitalise finance processes and collaborate with IT/Data teams on implementation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on financial performance.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations and IT stakeholders.
• Experience in month‑end closing, budgeting, forecasting and inventory planning.
