Remote Litigation Attorney (Foreign-Licensed)

About the role

Gaslamp Law Group, a growing California plaintiff‑side lemon law firm, is seeking a foreign‑licensed attorney to provide substantive litigation and case‑management support on a full‑time remote basis. The role involves handling lemon‑law matters from filing through settlement or trial while collaborating with California‑licensed supervising attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Manage lemon‑law cases through all phases, including drafting complaints, discovery, motions, and settlement documents.
• Research California civil procedure, court rules, and lemon‑law specifics.
• Prepare repair histories, case summaries, calculations, and mediation materials.
• Schedule and monitor discovery, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial deadlines.
• Communicate case status and updates to clients, including Spanish‑speaking clients when bilingual.
• Coordinate document signing, service, filing, and follow‑up using Filevine.
• Maintain accurate notes, tasks, and deadlines; proactively follow up with attorneys and staff.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney in your country of residence.
• Minimum one year of legal experience; litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong legal research, writing, proofreading, and drafting abilities.
• Ability to work 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday–Friday.
• Reliable internet, computer, and a quiet workspace.
