Remote Frontend Web Developer (HTML/CSS)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Web Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building responsive user interfaces using HTML and CSS for a high‑traffic platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components with HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design across desktop and mobile devices.
• Translate design mockups from tools such as Figma or Sketch into pixel‑perfect UI elements.
• Optimize front‑end performance and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front‑end best practices.

Required profile

• Proven proficiency in semantic HTML and modern CSS.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile‑first development.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) or utility frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
• Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
• Ability to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
