Remote Frontend Developer (JavaScript, React, Node.js)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑performance web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise frontend components using JavaScript, React and related libraries.
• Build and maintain backend services with Node.js and Express for RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate frontend and backend systems.
• Write clean, modular, well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in existing applications.

Required profile

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Experience with React and modern state‑management solutions such as Redux or Context API.
• Solid background in Node.js, Express and API development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with Git version control and testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
