Remote ESL Teacher for Young Learners (Evening Hours)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ESL teacher to deliver online English lessons to young learners (ages 4‑11) in China. The position is fully remote, with a fixed evening schedule (6‑8 PM Bangkok time) and optional weekend hours, allowing you to plan your day with confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live, interactive English classes for children aged 4‑11 using company‑provided curriculum.
• Follow a set evening timetable (6‑8 PM Bangkok time) and take additional weekend sessions when desired.
• Maintain lesson quality without the need for late‑night lesson planning.
• Collaborate with a dedicated support team for technical and administrative assistance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Accredited 120‑hour+ TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or TEYL certification.
• Minimum two years of ESL teaching experience.
• Native English speaker from the USA, Canada or the UK.
• Currently residing in Southeast Asia (e.g., Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia) or South America (e.g., Argentina, Brazil).
• Clear criminal record and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Computer with Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0 GHz or higher (minimum 4 cores) and 8 GB RAM.
• Stable internet connection of at least 20 Mbps upload/download via cable.
• Noise‑cancelling headset and HD webcam.
• UPS backup power with 4‑5 hour capacity for regions with power interruptions.
• Quiet, well‑lit teaching environment.
