Remote Controller / Senior Accountant (Contractor)

About the role

Fusion Growth Partners is seeking a full‑time remote contractor to act as Controller and Senior Accountant. You will own the day‑to‑day accounting processes for multiple entities, ensure accurate financial records, and provide leadership with clear financial visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations across several business entities.
• Maintain general ledger, chart of accounts, and perform bank, credit‑card and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and lead month‑end close procedures.
• Produce financial and operational reports for senior leadership.
• Monitor customer balances, collections, open invoices, and commission tracking.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, improve accounting workflows, and strengthen internal controls.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation for the finance function.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on accounting experience, managing full accounting cycles.
• Minimum 5 years of active QuickBooks Online usage as the primary accounting system.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
