Remote Bookkeeper (Mid-Level)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team remotely. The role supports multiple clients, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records for US‑based entities.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain up‑to‑date books.
• Perform regular bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.
• Process invoices, track expenses and handle receipt management.
• Assist with payroll processing and coordination as needed.
• Prepare month‑end closing entries and basic financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Maintain organized records in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero or similar).
• Support tax‑preparation documentation and audit requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) or Xero.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, AP/AR and basic accounting principles.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office able to work US business hours.
