Remote Accountant (US GAAP Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accountant with solid US GAAP experience to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting month‑end close, financial reporting, and tax compliance for US‑based entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with month‑end close processes and account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of US tax compliance requirements.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
