Regional Controller – LATAM

About the role

Join EGT’s global finance transformation journey as a Regional Controller for the LATAM region. Reporting to the Group Controller, you will lead controllership activities across multiple countries, ensuring high‑quality financial reporting, governance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes for all legal entities in the region.
• Ensure consistent application of IFRS, Group accounting policies and local statutory requirements.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex accounting and reporting matters.
• Strengthen the regional internal‑control environment and manage audit processes.
• Partner with senior business and finance stakeholders on governance, financial risk and strategic initiatives.
• Lead cross‑country alignment, process harmonisation and finance‑transformation projects.
• Develop and support regional controllership teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in controllership, audit, financial reporting or senior finance leadership.
• Strong expertise in IFRS and multi‑country financial governance.
• Proven experience in multinational, matrix organisations.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the LATAM region.
