Quality Control Analyst – Project Services Lab

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join IQVIA Laboratories in Buenos Aires. The role supports global clinical research studies by reviewing laboratory specifications, study documentation and database configurations during study start‑up and amendment phases.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control reviews of laboratory specifications, LSDs, lab events, testing requirements, blood volume and toxicity charts, blinding charts, sponsor standards and related documents.
• Validate project databases against laboratory specification documents to ensure accuracy, completeness and protocol alignment.
• Collaborate with Set‑up Managers, Set‑up Specialists and cross‑functional teams to resolve quality findings and meet study deliverables.
• Monitor QC timelines, analyze quality trends and contribute to training, process improvements and quality metrics reporting.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ICH E6 GCP guidelines.
• Support the mentoring and development of junior staff and QC team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field.
• At least five years of experience in clinical or research industry, including three years in study set‑up or project management.
• Strong understanding of medical and clinical research terminology and set‑up management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using IQVIA systems.
• Familiarity with ELVIS laboratory information system.
