QC Project Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Quality Control (QC) Project Assistant to perform the final accuracy, clarity and consistency checks on translation deliverables for our global language services clients. The role is based in Buenos Aires and offers the opportunity to work closely with production and linguist teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous QC checks on deliverables, ensuring correct methodology, client information, file naming, properties and types are followed.
• Perform non‑linguistic quality reviews, verify adherence to glossaries, reference files and client instructions, and fix formatting and layout issues.
• Monitor compliance with previous quality steps and report recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain and update internal style guides and QC checklists to guarantee consistency across projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, enhance translation workflows, tools and efficiencies.
• Provide constructive feedback to production and linguist teams to raise overall quality.

Required profile

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent time‑management skills, able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat for PDF review and editing.
• Familiarity with reference management, version control or content management systems is a plus.
