Python Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

Pyyne is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with 2‑5 years of Python experience to join a remote team in Brazil or Argentina. You will work on a custom AI intelligence tool for a US‑based client, delivering incremental, well‑tested features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Python services for the AI solution.
• Collaborate daily with a senior engineer, following architectural guidance.
• Ship small, well‑tested changes regularly and keep progress visible to the team and client.
• Participate in frequent syncs, proactively sharing status, risks, and blockers.
• Support LLM and retrieval‑augmented generation components as needed.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional Python experience.
• Hands‑on with async Python (asyncio) and REST APIs (FastAPI or similar).
• Solid SQL skills, PostgreSQL experience, and ORM usage (SQLAlchemy) including migrations.
• Experience writing automated tests with pytest.
• Comfortable with Git and independent task ownership.
• Highly fluent written and spoken English.
