Production Engineer – Lehliu Gară

About the role

We are expanding our sandwich‑panel manufacturing facility in Lehliu Gară and need a seasoned Production Engineer to lead the new plant. You will be the primary point of contact for technological flow, manufacturing processes, and quality control, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all production activities and guide the team on process optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health, environmental, and labour regulations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, applying Lean principles and TPM.
• Maintain a safe work environment and coach team members.
• Monitor product quality, cost, and schedule, addressing non‑conformities and implementing corrective actions.
• Track production progress, material consumption, and maintenance programmes.
• Diagnose line issues, provide recommendations, and deliver training.

Required profile

• Degree in technical, mechanical or electromechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production role, preferably in sandwich‑panel manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of technological flow and manufacturing processes for sandwich panels.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and TPM/Continuous Improvement.
• Fluent English (B2) and excellent communication, presentation and planning skills.
• Demonstrated leadership of production teams and ability to work under pressure in shift schedules.
