Product Specialist

About the role

Medtronic, a global healthcare technology company, is looking for a Product Specialist in Buenos Aires. The role covers product planning, market analysis and positioning, working closely with the product development team throughout the product cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and review short- and long-term corporate plans, and set goals for a specific product or product line.
• Carry out product competitive analysis and consumer and professional audience studies.
• Determine the profitability and feasibility of new products or improvements to existing ones.
• Develop production and marketing strategies to position the product against market opportunities, working with the product development team.
• Collaborate with other functions to define and finalise product specifications.
• Provide guidance and support for advertising activities and protect the brand image.
• Act as technical advisor, giving product demonstrations and helping resolve customer issues.

Required profile

• Degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in product marketing, product management or related areas.
• Experience in market analysis, competition and customer behaviour.
• Intermediate-to-advanced English.
• Experience in the medical devices or healthcare industry is desirable.
• Availability to work under a flex work scheme in Buenos Aires.
