Product Development Manager – Fluid Power Digital & IoT

About the role

Gates is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the execution of its Fluid Power Digital and Internet of Things portfolio. You will translate strategic digital goals into concrete development work, guiding the product from concept through launch while collaborating closely with the Global Product Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery of roadmap features and milestones, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
• Define and monitor product usage metrics, conduct multivariate testing and quantitative analysis to generate data‑driven insights.
• Maintain deep understanding of user journeys, UX/UI best practices, and customer pain points to shape feature definitions.
• Track competitive landscape, identify opportunities and threats, and feed insights into product vision.
• Align product work with overall business KPIs such as digital revenue and cost reduction.
• Act as Product Owner: manage, groom, and prioritize the product backlog, translating strategic epics into actionable requirements.

• Ability to bridge business and engineering teams across digital and IoT domains.
• Experience driving product lifecycle from definition to deployment.
• Data‑oriented mindset with proven ability to turn metrics into actionable product decisions.
