Procurement Operations Analyst

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Procurement Operations Analyst to support the Upstream Unconventional business unit. The role focuses on executing commercial strategies through RFQ processes, managing low‑ and high‑value orders, and troubleshooting invoices across key categories such as PVFF/MRO, Sand, Chemicals, and Rotating Equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Request and validate vendor setup in all procurement and accounting systems.
• Issue and administer purchase orders and change orders ranging from $10k to $100k+.
• Facilitate and analyze quotations for multiple business units.
• Conduct basic commercial negotiations and manage terms and conditions.
• Maintain vendor relationships and monitor control requirements.
• Validate competitive pricing, generate savings, and ensure achievable lead times.
• Monitor aged requisitions and assist with end‑to‑end purchasing troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Business Line, Payables, Vendor Master, Contracting, Project Procurement Advisors, and Supply Chain teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal clients and suppliers, sharing learnings and improvement ideas.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, International Trade or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the full Source‑to‑Pay process.
• Excellent negotiation, organization, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Self‑starter able to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Interest in operations, procurement, problem‑solving and process integration.
• Analytical mindset with curiosity about the broader business impact.
