Podcast Editor (Audio & Video)

About the role

Organifi is seeking a Podcast Editor who will transform raw audio and video recordings into broadcast-quality episodes and create engaging short-form clips for social platforms. Working within a fast-paced content engine, you will collaborate with hosts, producers and marketing strategists to deliver content that drives audience growth.

Key responsibilities

• Edit long-form podcast episodes (audio and video), ensuring seamless pacing, multi-camera switching and professional audio engineering (leveling, mixing, noise reduction).
• Extract and produce high-impact micro-content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
• Optimize short-form clips with fast pacing, dynamic captions, visual hooks, sound effects and B-roll to maximize view duration and virality.
• Research and implement target keywords, craft metadata, titles and descriptions for YouTube.
• Integrate AI tools for automated transcription, video reframing, audio cleanup and rapid clip generation.
• Track performance analytics (retention, CTR, watch time) and adjust editing style, hooks and thumbnails accordingly.
• Maintain a library of show assets, templates, graphics and brand-compliant visual layouts.
• Export master files formatted for Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and various social networks.

Required profile

• Proven experience producing high-quality audio-video podcasts with a portfolio that includes viral or highly engaging short-form clips.
• Strong understanding of audience-first storytelling and data-driven iteration.
• Ability to work quickly in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Adobe Audition or Pro Tools.
• AI transcription and video-reframing tools.
• Audio engineering techniques (leveling, mixing, noise reduction).
• Social-media clip creation and platform specifications.
