Platform Experience Engineer

About the role

Siena is building the Agent of Record for consumer brands, a single AI‑driven platform that replaces dozens of disconnected tools. As a Platform Experience Engineer you will own the toughest production problems, work directly with customers, and turn each fix into lasting automation.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve critical production issues end‑to‑end, from webhook failures to misbehaving agents.
• Collaborate with customers on calls to diagnose root causes and deliver live resolutions.
• Build automation and runbooks so the same issue never recurs.
• Provide structured, metrics‑backed feedback to product teams to improve the platform.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset; can turn vague symptoms into concrete fixes.
• Enjoys direct customer interaction and sees it as leverage, not a chore.
• Proactive owner who creates processes where none exist.
• Mentors teammates through documentation, tools, and walkthroughs.

Required skills

• Node.js, TypeScript, React, Express
• PostgreSQL and SQL debugging
• Browser‑side JavaScript debugging
• AI prompt engineering and LLM workflow debugging
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code)
