Personal Care Assistant – Senior Living

About the role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join its senior living communities. In this hands‑on role you will support residents’ daily living activities while fostering a safe, dignified, and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP), document any changes, and report to care leaders.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for each resident.
• Engage residents through conversation, recreational activities, and memory‑care enrichment.
• Support dining services and maintain clean, welcoming common areas.
• Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide specialized, enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Age 18 +.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.
• Compassionate, reliable, and strong communication skills.
