Montessori Educator – Level 2/3

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Montessori Educator (Level 2/3) to join our faith‑based early learning program in Calgary. You will help create a warm, prepared environment that nurtures children’s natural curiosity, independence, and love of learning while integrating Biblical values.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Montessori‑aligned learning spaces with developmentally appropriate materials.
• Guide children through uninterrupted work cycles, encouraging self‑directed exploration and purposeful work.
• Observe each child intentionally and provide calm, respectful guidance to develop concentration, self‑discipline, and confidence.
• Incorporate prayer, Bible stories, and spiritual reflection into daily routines in age‑appropriate ways.
• Build meaningful relationships with families and support the overall well‑being of each child.

Required profile

• Alberta Child Care qualification (Level 2 or Level 3).
• Passion for faith‑based education and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a nurturing, respectful classroom community.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Montessori materials and teaching methods.
• Ability to observe and document child development accurately.
• Effective communication of Biblical concepts in a developmentally appropriate manner.
