Mobile Engineer – React Native for POS Applications

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a Mobile Engineer specialized in React Native to develop point‑of‑sale (POS) tablet applications and supporting backend services. You will work on a major quick‑service restaurant (QSR) platform, delivering offline‑first experiences and collaborating with a global, remote team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement React Native and TypeScript features for the POS tablet app following established patterns.
• Develop and maintain Node.js/TypeScript service endpoints.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and actively participate in code reviews.
• Debug and resolve defects and production issues for your components.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with production delivery.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, API design, debugging, and testing.
• Ability to follow established architecture and coding standards.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
