Middle Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Middle Frontend Developer to join Avenga’s Argentina team, working on insurance‑sector applications. You will create reusable, scalable components and collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver high‑performance web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Implement user‑oriented visual and functional features using Angular (v15+).
• Build and maintain reusable components and internal libraries to improve frontend scalability.
• Translate wireframes and UX/UI prototypes into clean, maintainable code.
• Integrate frontend with proprietary and third‑party APIs, ensuring robustness and security.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and usability.
• Research and propose new technologies, patterns, and tools that add value.
• Write code following best practices in design, architecture, and security.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a frontend developer.
• Strong autonomy, initiative, and passion for quality code.
• Experience working in an agile, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Angular v15+ (up to v21), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
• Mobile development with Ionic and Capacitor (desired).
• Unit and end‑to‑end testing using Cypress.
• Version control with Git.
• Micro Frontends, NX monorepo, component libraries such as PrimeNG.
• State management with NgRx or Redux.
• Node.js, Next.js basics.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Knowledge of Azure ecosystem and Backend‑for‑Frontend patterns.
