Mid-level QA Automation Engineer – Python

About the role

We are seeking a Mid-level QA Automation Engineer to join our team building an AI‑powered conversational platform. You will work on Python‑based microservices hosted on AWS, a modern web UI, and real‑time voice technologies to ensure high‑quality customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for REST APIs, covering authentication, RBAC and request/response validation.
• Build and enhance UI automation frameworks using modern tools and best practices.
• Write and maintain test automation scripts with Python and pytest.
• Create test documentation, test cases and detailed defect reports.
• Participate in defect triage, root‑cause analysis and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product owners and DevOps throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support performance and latency validation for real‑time communication workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in QA, testing web applications and API‑driven systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with REST API testing, including authentication, authorization and RBAC.
• Practical use of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience in UI test automation with Playwright and TypeScript or equivalent frameworks.
• Solid scripting skills with Python and pytest.
• Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, S3).
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning and defect management.
