Mid-level Mobile Engineer – POS App (React Native/Node.js)

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a Mid-level Mobile Engineer to develop a Point‑of‑Sale (POS) tablet application and related backend services for a major quick‑service restaurant (QSR) platform. You will work within an architecture defined by senior engineers, using React Native, TypeScript and Node.js while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Build new features for the POS tablet app using React Native and TypeScript.
• Implement and maintain Node.js/TypeScript service endpoints.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and resolve defects and production issues for your components.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as planning, estimation and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, API design, debugging and testing.
• Ability to follow established architecture and coding standards.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
