Mid-level Android Engineer

About the role

Join a large‑scale digital transformation initiative in the financial services sector, building modern, customer‑centric mobile applications for millions of users. As a Mid‑level Android Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android apps using the latest technologies and architectural best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Android applications following MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Develop modern UI components with Jetpack Compose and Material Design.
• Manage application state using ViewModel, StateFlow, and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Integrate RESTful APIs with Retrofit and OkHttp, handling data serialization.
• Write unit and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (1.9.x or later).
• Deep understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and common design patterns.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Material Design, and state management.
• Hands‑on knowledge of dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger) and asynchronous programming.
• Located in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (CABA/AMBA) for close on‑site collaboration.
