Mid-level Accountant – AP & US GAAP (Argentina)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid-level Accountant to join our global shared services Accounts Payable team in Argentina. You will be responsible for accurate AP accounting, payments, and US GAAP bookkeeping using SAP while collaborating with local statutory accountants and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Validate accounting attributes on expenditure supporting documents.
• Execute domestic and international bank payments, including wire transfers and batch payments.
• Maintain US GAAP bookkeeping for expenditures and post related AP and bank entries.
• Finalize monthly close for assigned SAP accounts following established procedures.
• Coordinate with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping questions.
• Prepare explanations and supporting documentation for senior accountants.
• Handle internal and external inquiries, attend meetings, and provide audit support documents.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and test enhancements with the IT development team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• High attention to detail and strong commitment to compliance.
• Ownership mindset, accountability, and ability to work within defined rules.
• Willingness to pursue continuous learning and development.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach in multicultural environments.
• English proficiency at B2+ level (written and spoken).
