About the role

As a Member Support Specialist at Belong, you are the first point of contact for homeowners and residents using the Belong operating system. You ensure every member receives a personal, responsive experience, whether they reach out via Intercom, phone, or chat.

Key responsibilities

Handle inbound member requests through Intercom, phone, and chat, diagnosing issues and aiming for first‑contact resolution.
When a request requires a specialist team, transfer it with full context so the member never repeats information.
Represent the Belong brand by using members’ names, acknowledging emotions, and responding with urgency and ownership.
Identify recurring issues, flag pain points, and help improve AI‑assisted triage and macros.

Required profile

Early‑career professional who is empathetic, calm under pressure, and eager to grow quickly.
Curious about technology and excited about leveraging AI in customer support.
Fast learner who can navigate a system that spans leasing, maintenance, finance, and more.
