Member of Technical Staff – Backend Software Engineer

About the role

As a Member of the Technical Staff at DevRev, you will build customer‑facing product capabilities across the stack, working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver intuitive, reliable experiences on an AI‑native SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve scalable backend APIs, services, and data flows for multi‑tenant SaaS capabilities.
• Own features from concept through production, including API design, data modeling, implementation, testing, and iteration based on feedback.
• Investigate production issues, participate in on‑call rotation, and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers, product, and design teams in a global, distributed environment.
• Improve observability, alerting, and cost visibility in line with resource‑tagging and telemetry standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production web or SaaS applications.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Strong programming experience in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience designing and developing APIs, backend services, and SDKs.
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, asynchronous processing, and scalable system trade‑offs.
