Medical Project Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Medical Project Coordinator to support and enhance drug safety operations within clinical trials. The role involves coordinating safety data review, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to patient safety across study sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and review safety data using line listings, dashboards and visualization tools.
• Identify safety trends, coding inconsistencies and follow‑up actions with investigator sites.
• Prepare safety summaries for review meetings and contribute to aggregate reports.
• Assist in creating and reviewing safety and medical management plans to align with contracts.
• Support routine project implementation, forecasting, metric review and budget considerations.
• Monitor data review status, escalating delays or risks to stakeholders.
• Present at business development, client and investigator meetings and participate in strategy calls.
• Serve as primary contact for clinical and data‑management project teams and aid in training and mentoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Physician Assistant, or a licensed RN.
• At least 2 years of clinical safety experience in clinical research monitoring, pharmacovigilance, or a combination of both.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) for medical oversight of clinical trials.
• Pharmacovigilance and drug‑development safety reporting.
• Safety data trending and coding (e.g., MedDRA).
• Biostatistics, data management and clinical procedures.
• Proficiency with visualization tools and dashboards.
