Medical Equipment & BIM Planner – Revit – FF&E

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Equipment & BIM Planner to join a remote team supporting a top‑tier U.S. healthcare consulting firm. The role bridges medical equipment strategy, clinical workflows, and BIM execution, translating clinical markups into coordinated Revit models.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and procure medical equipment, perform space calculations, cost estimates, and develop FF&E specifications.
• Update project planning databases (e.g., Attainia) with accurate pricing, models, and specifications.
• Build and coordinate medical equipment within architectural Revit models, ensuring alignment with databases and design intent.
• Interpret Bluebeam markups, map operating rooms, imaging areas, labs, and ensure proper clearances and utility integration.
• Produce drawings, specification packages, and presentation boards for client submittals and procurement orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Healthcare Administration, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑5+ years of experience on architectural or healthcare design projects, working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of medical equipment modalities, utility integration, and healthcare construction processes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu.
• Experience with medical equipment planning databases such as Attainia.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
