Media Account Manager

About the role

The Media Account Manager will represent IMG's Media team in Buenos Aires, focusing on the international distribution of CONMEBOL Club Competitions media rights. You will support sales across territories, manage relationships with rights holders, and act as the local point of contact for the Media department.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage international sales of CONMEBOL Club Competitions media rights, including negotiations, proposals and deal execution.
• Manage the lifecycle of international media rights agreements, coordinating with internal teams and handling contractual matters.
• Act as the primary contact for media rights holders across the SSLA region, overseeing day‑to‑day relationships and commercial discussions.
• Lead media intelligence activities, producing ratings and audience reports for CONMEBOL Libertadores and Sudamericana.
• Coordinate anti‑piracy efforts with IMG’s partner and relevant stakeholders.
• Represent the Media team in Buenos Aires meetings and support local IMG leadership on media‑related matters.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the sports, media or broadcasting industry.
• Experience in media rights sales, distribution or account management.
• Strong commercial mindset, organizational and relationship‑management skills.
• Good understanding of the sports media landscape in Latin America and international markets.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; professional proficiency in Portuguese.
• Willingness to travel internationally, especially within Latin America.

Required skills

• Knowledge of sports media rights, broadcasters and streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with audience measurement and TV/digital viewership data.
