Mechanical Site Package Manager – Salta Site

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Package Manager to support the Salta construction site. The role involves coordinating engineering and procurement information to keep the project schedule on track and ensuring seamless hand‑over to the construction team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all engineering and procurement interfaces for assigned contracts on the Salta site.
• Ensure timely availability of engineering data and oversee the creation of Construction Work Packages (CWP) for the scope.
• Collaborate with field engineering, site planning and material management to enable accurate construction planning.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and corporate project teams to obtain missing technical information.
• Develop technical solutions, optimise construction sequences and act as a key resource without close supervision.
• Provide expert input on steel, mechanical, piping, coating, electrical and instrumentation works.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• At least 10 years of project engineering/management experience in an EPC environment, including site work on complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel, mechanical, piping and coating works; familiarity with electrical and instrumentation installation is highly preferred.
• Experience supervising site construction activities is a plus.
