Material Operations Planner – Fixed Term

About the role

The Material Operations Planner will support Coca‑Cola’s ingredient supply chain in Buenos Aires. This fixed‑term position (until 31 December 2026) focuses on data‑driven insights, procurement support, and coordination of supplier activities to ensure continuous product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with supply‑chain management, plant teams, planners and buyers; participate in operational meetings.
• Identify materials at risk and proactively alert buyers and plant leadership.
• Lead or support packaging optimisation and ingredient defect problem‑solving initiatives.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and Production to update internal reports and documentation.
• Follow up on hard‑allocation requests, material‑to‑material conversions, and critical supply‑risk management.
• Execute cost‑saving initiatives with buyers and planning teams.
• Conduct regular supplier and internal meetings to improve service levels.
• Manage plant reporting: purchase orders, ingredient availability, invoicing, inventory and stock reports.
• Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, legal requirements, audits, price schedules and contractual documentation.
• Maintain and update performance metrics, tools, pricing information and supplier databases.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, data analytics or data management.
• Strong business communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes.
