Marketing Assistant – Remote (US Hours)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant to support a US‑based digital marketing consultancy. Working fully remote on US Central Time, you will help manage social media, optimise client websites, and create high‑impact content for a diverse portfolio of businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Create, design (Canva) and schedule social media posts, including basic video editing.
• Write press releases, blog articles, newsletters and promotional emails with strong English grammar.
• Conduct digital audits and present growth recommendations.
• Perform routine edits on WordPress, Wix and Shopify sites; manage Google Business Listings and Yelp directories.
• Implement on‑page SEO improvements (meta tags, alt text, site structure) and monitor site speed and user experience.
• Support account managers with administrative tasks and special projects.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimisation or digital marketing.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with US federal holidays and ability to work 9 am‑5 pm CST.
