Manager, Accounting Statutory Reporting

About the role

World Kinect is looking for a Manager of Accounting Statutory Reporting to lead the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions. The role is based in Buenos Aires and works within a global finance team, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and filing of annual statutory financial statements in line with local accounting standards.
• Identify and reconcile differences between US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Review supporting documentation for key balances such as debt, intercompany transactions, investments, and intangibles.
• Coordinate audit requests and act as primary liaison with external auditors.
• Determine required disclosures based on business operations and local statutory rules.
• Manage the external audit process and resolve audit queries.
• Collaborate with internal audit, tax, and treasury teams to ensure compliance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives for reporting processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting or audit experience in a global organization.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA or local equivalent).
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and strategic thinking abilities.
