Logistics Team Leader

About the role

The Logistics Team Leader will oversee daily logistics freight payment and audit activities, providing support, training and direction to team members. This role ensures performance monitoring, KPI reporting and continuous improvement within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the manager in day‑to‑day logistics freight pay and audit activities.
• Provide feedback on daily workload to help set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate in setting objectives, performance evaluations and succession planning.
• Participate actively in recruitment of new employees.
• Identify, analyze and improve accounting processes that are not functioning properly.
• Maintain communication with local and international Finance and Accounting representatives.
• Prepare and report KPI (Key Performance Indicator) metrics.
• Participate in projects, transitions and updates of SOPs and DTPs.
• Assist with HR administration tasks such as absences, vacations and overtime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field (completed or in process).
• 3–5 years of finance‑logistics business experience.
• 1–3 years of people‑leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and investigative skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written English communication.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Logistics, 3–5 years accounts payable experience, previous logistics/transportation/operations background, experience in a Shared Services team, strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
