Lead Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Security Engineer to protect our systems, data and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You will work across IT, DevOps and other teams to embed security into development and operations while driving continuous improvement of processes, tools and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Create, roll out and maintain security policies, standards and procedures.
• Tri­age cybersecurity requests, manage intake queues and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop, review and audit Python‑based automation scripts that streamline IAM workflows.
• Administer access rights using least‑privilege and separation‑of‑duties principles.
• Maintain alignment with regulations and support internal and external audit engagements.
• Track security metrics, identify improvement opportunities and launch initiatives to strengthen the security posture.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps and development teams to integrate security throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations.
• At least 1 year of experience leading development or security teams.
• Proven ability to manage projects, define processes and update policies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English (B2+ level) – written and spoken.
