KYC Analyst – Latin America Quality Control

About the role

As a KYC Analyst focused on Quality Control for the Latin America region, you will ensure that client onboarding and ongoing monitoring meet rigorous AML/KYC standards. Reporting to a KYC Associate or Manager, you will play a key part in safeguarding the business against fraud and regulatory risk.

Key responsibilities

• Review client profiles and lifecycle documents to verify consistency, activity, structure, and risk.
• Apply AML policies and internal procedures in line with local and global regulations.
• Identify and resolve underlying issues, patterns, or potential fraud exposure.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Internal Controls, Technology, Client Services, and Global Onboarding teams.
• Prioritize daily workload, manage time efficiently, and follow established policies.
• Work independently with supervision, escalating complex matters as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Strong problem‑solving and prioritization abilities.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in customer service, operations, sales, or portfolio management, preferably in banking or financial services.

Required skills

• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to quickly learn AML/KYC regulations and internal procedures.
