Community Sports Partners is seeking a Junior Web Developer to create high-converting landing pages and enhance the front-end experience of its website. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates eager to build practical skills in UI/UX design, front-end development, and basic back-end tasks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop visually appealing, responsive landing pages and website components.
• Optimize front-end code for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to improve user experience and engagement.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to align updates with brand goals.
• Make minor back-end updates using PHP and SQL to support landing page functionality.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyse results to refine user interactions.
• Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues to ensure smooth performance.
• Stay current with web design trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 1-5 years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Responsive design and mobile-first development.
• UI/UX principles.
• Basic PHP and SQL for minor back-end updates.
• Version control with Git (nice to have).
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React (nice to have).
• API integration experience (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, Brevo) (nice to have).
• Knowledge of SEO and web performance optimisation (nice to have).
