Junior Software Engineer – Accounting Background (Remote, Argentina)

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a Junior Software Engineer who brings accounting experience to a fast‑growing fintech team. The position is fully remote (based in Argentina) and offers the chance to work on financial‑process automation and payment‑installment products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Golang.
• Build and maintain front‑end features with React and React Native.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve automation and reconciliation workflows.
• Write clean, documented code and participate in the full software development lifecycle.
• Implement monitoring, logging and testing using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Started a career in accounting and transitioned to software engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with high technical aptitude and good communication skills.
• Motivated to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and grow within a fintech company.
