Junior Service Desk Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Service Desk Specialist to join our global team at Kapsch. You will provide first‑level technical support to both internal and external customers, ensuring incidents are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st level technical support to internal and external customers.
• Manage and coordinate incidents using ITSM tools, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and systems to maintain stability and performance.
• Deliver remote support to end users for system and application queries.
• Configure applications and support testing activities for smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive efficient issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN) and IT infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with PC hardware components and diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and MS Office tools.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 support model with rotating shifts.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong learning agility and adaptability.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish and English.
