Jr. IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to provide on‑site assistance for desktop and laptop environments. The role involves deploying hardware, installing applications, and handling incidents and service requests for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems in the field, providing immediate support.
• Install, configure and calibrate desktops, laptops and related peripherals.
• Train customers on proper use of equipment and systems.
• Manage service calls, document activities and maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex issues and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in field technical support, preferably as a Field Service Support.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software and networking concepts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work occasional outside‑business‑hour shifts.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent).
• Microsoft Certified (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).
• Cisco CCNA certification.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.
