Java Developer – SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)

About the role

Chevron’s Global Business Services in Buenos Aires is seeking a Java Developer specialized in SAP Hybris and SAP Commerce Cloud. The role focuses on delivering B2B and B2C customer portal solutions, driving the full lifecycle from design to support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop complex software solutions using SAP Hybris, Java, and related technologies.
• Participate actively in an agile DevOps team, handling coding, automated testing, documentation, and configuration changes.
• Modernize applications through re‑platforming, re‑architecting, and automation.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement configuration changes.
• Monitor interfaces, data loads, security, and performance, providing feedback and solutions.

Required profile

• In‑depth experience with SAP Hybris (versions 1811‑2105) and SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Strong technical background in Java, JavaScript, Spring, JSP, HTML5, Angular, React, CSS, SQL/Oracle, SOLR, and Azure Integration Services.
• SAP Certified Development Professional: SAP Commerce Cloud preferred.
• Knowledge of security, scalability, high availability, concurrency, internationalization, and SaaS enterprise support.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication to gather and document business requirements.
