IT Operations/Support Lead

About the role

We are seeking an IT Operations/Support Lead to own and manage our internal IT ecosystem end‑to‑end. You will be responsible for laptops, workstations, security standards, SSO, identity access management, and SaaS licensing, ensuring a secure, reliable, and user‑friendly environment for a largely remote workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of laptops and workstations, including procurement, imaging, deployment, recovery, and decommissioning.
• Implement and administer MDM/endpoint management tools such as Intune, Jamf, Kandji, or Workspace ONE.
• Maintain an accurate asset inventory and define standard images for different roles.
• Administer identity provider and SSO platforms (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace) and manage role‑based access control.
• Run joiner/mover/leaver processes and monitor access logs for suspicious activity.
• Define, document, and enforce IT and security policies, manage endpoint security tooling (EDR/AV, disk encryption, host firewalls), and coordinate vulnerability management.
• Support compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and participate in security assessments and audits.
• Own SaaS application inventory, license management, and work with finance on renewals and budgeting.
• Establish and improve IT support processes, serve as escalation point, and create runbooks, FAQs, and user documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing endpoint lifecycles and MDM solutions.
• Strong background in identity and access management, including SSO integration.
• Hands‑on experience with security policies, endpoint protection, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to manage SaaS licensing, vendor relationships, and budgeting.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
